LiveTree is a blockchain-based, end-to-end production and distribution platform for TV and film. Infinity Economics is a low-transaction-cost payment system, built by using cryptocurrency technologies, designed to create digital economies akin to traditional financial services.
The two companies announced a new partnership on Friday. The aim of the partnership is to offer loans to content makers through the LiveTree platform. The Infinity Economics Platform will be used to directly match content creators seeking a loan with investors, providing liquidity to film and TV projects.
LiveTree CEO Ashley Turing commented:
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Infinity Economics to expand and explore film bonds via the blockchain. It offers a number of advantages over other blockchains in supporting content creators to achieve liquidity for their productions.”
Norbert Schmid, Head of Sirius BusinessAngels AG (the business bridge of Infinity Economics Platform) also commented on the new partnership:
“It’s an interesting market and a really cool idea and concept. With our blockchain technology, we can easily provide LiveTree with the solution that they need. […] It was the right time to make a deeper partnership with LiveTree and help each other.”
